Situated on a tranquil stretch of Non tidal Thames, Bates Wharf Marina is the perfect location to set off for a leisurely boating experience. Take a picnic to enjoy onboard or moor up outside one of the many pubs, restaurants, and hotels you will find along the river. Historic landmarks are within easy reach whether you head upstream to Runnymede, where the Magna Carta was sealed to Windsor to visit the castle or downstream head towards Hampton Court palace.

Cruising along the Thames with a scenic backdrop of English countryside is the perfect way to socialise with friends and family. Bates Wharf is a quiet, family run Marina based on an idyllic part of the River Thames, Chertsey. Just 5 minutes from Junction 11 of the M25, we offer free parking.

Excellent public transport links close by including direct trains into Central London. Chertsey is one of the oldest towns in Britain, founded around 666AD and is also home to Thorpe Park, the UKs leading theme park. The Thames fleet currently includes a Rand Picnic 18 and Mana 23. Both of which are electric beginning a new trend with Freedom Boat Club.
